Product Description
The Extron XTP II CP 4o HD AT 4K PLUS is a four-output XTP I/O board that provides four local HDMI outputs plus Dante digital audio output for installation in an XTP CrossPoint matrix switcher. As a 4K/60 HDMI output board with Dante out, it supports HDMI 2.0b performance at resolutions up to 4K/60 with 4:4:4 color sampling at data rates up to 18 Gbps and complies with HDCP 2.3, making it well suited to large matrix-switched commercial AV systems that route video and networked audio together. The integrated Dante audio output transports up to four stereo signals over a standard IP network and supports AES67, Dante Controller, and Dante Domain Manager.
Each of the four HDMI outputs delivers HDCP 2.3-compliant 4K/60 4:4:4 video with support for HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, and HD lossless audio. Automatic output reclocking reshapes and restores signal timing to ensure reliable transmission over long cables, and each HDMI output supplies 5 VDC at 250 mA for powering external peripheral devices. The board also extracts and routes embedded audio, while audio breakaway enables independent switching of audio from its corresponding video signal.
This commercial-grade XTP output board integrates with all XTP CrossPoint matrix switcher models, though support for uncompressed 4K/60 at 4:4:4 requires installation in an XTP II CrossPoint frame. Pairing the Dante audio output with Extron Dante-enabled audio processors simplifies system expansion across boardrooms, courtrooms, broadcast facilities, and command-and-control rooms. EDID Minder and Key Minder manage EDID communication and continuous HDCP encryption, and SpeedSwitch Technology provides fast switching of protected content. Frequently Asked Questions
Which matrix switchers is this board compatible with?
The XTP II CP 4o HD AT 4K PLUS is compatible with all XTP CrossPoint matrix switcher models. To support uncompressed 4K/60 at 4:4:4 color sampling, it must be installed in an XTP II CrossPoint frame.
What does the Dante audio output do?
The Dante output transports up to four stereo audio signals (up to 8 channels, 24-bit, 48 kHz) routed through the XTP system over a standard IP network. It supports AES67 and works with Audinate Dante Controller and Dante Domain Manager software.
Does it support 4K and HDR?
Yes. The board supports HDMI 2.0b at resolutions up to 4K/60 with 4:4:4 color sampling at data rates up to 18 Gbps, including HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and is HDCP 2.3 compliant.
How is the board powered and installed?
The board is powered by the XTP CrossPoint or XTP II CrossPoint enclosure and consumes 14 watts. It is hot-swappable, so it can be added or removed without powering down the matrix switcher.
Can audio be switched independently of video?
Yes. Independent routing of embedded digital audio enables audio breakaway switching, allowing an audio signal to be routed separately from its corresponding video signal.
What warranty and support are included?
The board carries a 3-year parts-and-labor warranty and is sold through Creation Networks with AV integration support to help match it to the correct XTP CrossPoint frame and input boards.
