The Extron XTP FT HD 4K SM is a singlemode HDMI fiber optic transmitter that extends video, audio, bidirectional control, and Ethernet over a single fiber optic cable. As part of an Extron XTP Systems deployment, this HDCP-compliant transmitter sends pixel-for-pixel HDMI signals at resolutions up to 4K to a compatible XTP fiber optic receiver, making it a strong fit for long-haul, secure 4K HDMI signal distribution. The singlemode (SM) model carries signals up to 10 km (6.21 miles) over singlemode fiber, while the multimode variant reaches up to 500 meters over OM4 cable.

Using Extron all-digital technology, this 4K HDMI fiber transmitter supports data rates up to 8.91 Gbps with Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, and HD lossless audio formats.
