Product Description
The Extron TLP Pro 525C is a Cable Cubby TouchLink Pro touchpanel that combines a 5-inch flip-up capacitive touchscreen with a furniture-mount Cable Access Enclosure, delivering interactive AV control and tabletop connectivity from a single in-furniture footprint. The 800x480 (WVGA) display is built with scratch- and smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and driven by a quad-core processor for a responsive control surface. Because the touchpanel and cable access live in one enclosure, it is ideal for conference rooms, training rooms, and huddle spaces where integrators need clean table aesthetics alongside complete control of source devices, displays, and room systems.
This Extron Cable Cubby touchpanel accommodates an AC or AC+USB power module plus either five AV cables or two single-space MAAP Mini Connectivity Modules, with optional Retractor cable retraction and the included TLP Pro 525C Bracket Kit for flexible configuration. It works with any Extron control processor and HC 400 Series system over standard Ethernet, and can be converted into a standalone Pro xi Series AV control system using LinkLicense for TLP Control Processor with the optional TLCA 1 Control Port Expansion Adapter. Power over Ethernet supplies power and communication over one cable, simplifying installation. Customize the interface with Extron GUI Designer and manage the device remotely with GlobalViewer Enterprise. Looking for a tabletop form factor instead? Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the TLP Pro 525C and a standard tabletop touchpanel?
The 525C integrates the 5-inch flip-up touchpanel into a Cable Cubby furniture-mount enclosure, combining AV control with in-table cable and power access in one unit, rather than sitting as a standalone device on the table surface.
How is the TLP Pro 525C powered?
The touchpanel is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af, class 3), which supplies both power and network communication over a single Ethernet cable. The AC or AC+USB power module is a separate accessory for powering connected devices.
Can the TLP Pro 525C act as a standalone AV control system?
Yes. With LinkLicense for TLP Control Processor it can control Ethernet devices directly, and adding the optional TLCA 1 Control Port Expansion Adapter provides serial, IR, digital input, and relay ports for a full standalone Pro xi Series control system.
Which control processors and software are compatible?
It works with any Extron control processor and HC 400 Series system. Interfaces are built with Extron GUI Designer alongside Global Configurator Plus, Global Configurator Professional, or ControlScript programming.
What connectivity does the Cable Cubby enclosure support?
The enclosure accommodates an AC or AC+USB power module and either five AV cables or two single-space MAAP Mini Connectivity Modules, with optional Retractor cable retraction for AV, data, and power.
What warranty applies to the TLP Pro 525C?
Extron provides a 3-year parts and labor warranty, with the touchpanel display and overlay components covered for 1 year. Creation Networks supports integrators with pre-sales configuration guidance.
