The Extron MGP 641 xi is a four-window 4K/60 multi-window processor with four HDMI inputs and four 12G-SDI inputs, a live HDMI background input, simultaneous HDMI and DTP3 outputs (up to 330 ft over CAT 6A), Vector 4K scaling, 128 window presets, and optional on-screen annotation via LinkLicense. Product Description
The MGP 641 xi (SDI model) provides four input channels — each with both HDMI and 12G-SDI connections — plus a dedicated HDMI live background input. All four windows display simultaneously over a live video, still image, or solid color background. HDMI inputs accept signals to 4K/60 at 4:4:4; 12G-SDI inputs handle 12G, 6G, 3G, HD, and SD-SDI signals up to 4K/60 at 4:2:2. The HDMI output supports 4K/60; the DTP3 output extends uncompressed 4K/60 to 330 feet over shielded CAT 6A. Up to four units cascade via the HDMI background input for up to 16 windows on one display. Optional LinkLicense adds live annotation. Available at Creation Networks.

- 128 Window Presets — Store and recall size, position, priority, and border style; cut or animated transitions.
- Auto-Layout Mode — Full screen, side-by-side, pyramid, or quad-split based on active input signals.
- Cascade up to Four Units — Link via HDMI background input for up to 16 windows on one canvas.
- Optional Live Annotation (LinkLicense) — Annotate over live video using touchscreen or mouse; capture to USB flash drive.
- Logo Keying — Up to 32 logo images with transparency, RGB key, and level key effects.
