The Extron MediaPort 200 is an HDMI to USB scaling bridge that connects professional AV sources or systems to software codec conferencing applications via USB. It accepts HDMI input with HDCP-compliant loop-through, scales video to a USB 2.0 MJPEG stream, and provides 4x2 USB audio with integrated DSP including EQ, mixing, dynamics, and ducking. Product Description
The MediaPort 200 bridges professional AV systems with soft codec conferencing computers using a single USB connection. Scaling from 320x180 to 1080p/15 provides an MJPEG video stream optimized for soft codec requirements, with resolution groups dynamically controlled by the codec as it responds to CPU and bandwidth conditions. The 4x2 USB audio interface allows the MediaPort 200 to send a two-channel audio mix (mic, line, HDMI de-embedded) to the computer and receive four channels (program + far-end communications) from the computer — eliminating analog connections between the PC and the AV system. An AEC reference output delivers far-end audio to an external AEC-equipped DSP such as the DMP 128 Plus C for distributed echo cancellation. The integrated DSP provides parametric EQ, compression, limiting, ducking, and gain controls on all inputs and outputs.
