The Extron LinkLicense Videowall Processor Control App enables communication between EMS Express Mobile Software and Extron Quantum Ultra, Quantum Ultra Connect, and Quantum Ultra II videowall processors. This Quantum Ultra mobile control license turns any operator's tablet or phone into a touch-gesture control surface for preset selection, window management, and source switching on a live videowall.
Product Description
Quantum Ultra videowall processors are typically operated through Videowall Configuration Software and a fixed control system touchpanel, which works well for day-to-day operation but leaves no path for an operator to walk the floor, stand in front of the videowall itself, or make quick changes from a mobile device. This LinkLicense adds that path by enabling the EMS-Quantum Ultra mobile app to talk directly to the processor. Operators use familiar tap, drag, drag-and-drop, and swipe gestures to select presets, resize and reposition windows, and switch sources — either as the sole point of control or alongside the existing control system and VCS software. The license supports separate access credentials for Users, Designers, and Administrators, so a facility can give floor staff simple preset recall while reserving full layout editing for design staff, and it supports control from up to 10 mobile devices concurrently. Because it is a software entitlement applied to the Quantum Ultra processor itself, no additional control hardware is required to bring mobile operation online.
