Product Overview
The Extron LinkLicense for NAVigator Third-Party Control adds a Secure Shell (SSH) interface to the Extron NAVigator System Manager, letting third-party control systems switch and query the Pro AV over IP network directly. This NAVigator SIS control license is the standard path for integrating NAV encoders and decoders into an existing enterprise control platform without leaving Extron's ecosystem.
Product Description
The NAVigator System Manager already provides centralized, browser-based management of every NAV endpoint on a network — configuration, monitoring, backup and restore, diagnostics, and bulk firmware updates. This LinkLicense extends that management layer with an SSH interface that accepts SIS commands from third-party control processors, so switching decisions, endpoint queries, and system status checks can originate from whatever control system already runs the building. It secures the switching of NAV encoders and scaling decoders, and when paired with an Extron Pro Series control system, extends that reach to Secure Platform Devices on NAV endpoints, including their RS-232 and IR control ports. That combination means a customer who has standardized on a different control brand elsewhere in the building doesn't need to abandon that investment to bring NAV video distribution online — this LinkLicense is the bridge. It is issued at no cost and applied directly to an existing NAVigator System Manager appliance.
