The VCA 100 Virtual Control Appliance runs multiple IPCP Pro xi virtual control processors on shared server hardware, consolidating what would otherwise be a rack full of individual IPCP Pro xi units into a single appliance. Each virtual control processor operates as a fully independent control system instance, running its own configuration and programming for one room or one system. This LinkLicense adds capacity for ten additional virtual control processors in a single purchase — the most cost-efficient per-processor increment Extron offers, intended for new-building rollouts, large renovation projects, or facility-wide control standardization. Because it is a software entitlement, no additional hardware, rack space, or cabling is required — the ten new virtual control processors become available for configuration as soon as the license is applied.
