The Extron IN1608 xi IPCP Q SA LL is an 8-input HDCP-compliant scaling presentation switcher combining four HDMI inputs, two universal 15-pin HD inputs, two DTP 330 inputs, an integrated 2×50 W stereo Class D power amplifier (50 W/ch @ 4 Ω; 25 W/ch @ 8 Ω) with CDRS Ripple Suppression, the IPCP Pro 355MQ xi quad-core control processor (2 GB RAM, 8 GB Flash) with an isolated 3-port AV LAN switch, dual HDMI outputs, and a DTP/HDBaseT output — in a 2U rack unit. The LinkLicense User Interfaces upgrade is pre-installed, enabling any mobile device or computer on the network to serve as the AV control interface without per-user licensing fees. Product Description
The IN1608 xi IPCP Q routes eight inputs — four local HDMI, two universal 15-pin HD (configurable for RGB, HDTV, component, S-video, or composite), and two DTP 330 remote inputs on RJ-45 — to three simultaneous outputs: two local HDMI and one DTP or HDBaseT (configurable). The DTP output extends HDMI, analog audio, RS-232, and IR signals up to 330 feet over shielded CATx to DTP receivers and remote displays; it also powers select DTP endpoints over the same cable.
The scaling engine delivers 30-bit precision processing with motion-adaptive deinterlacing up to 1080i, selectable FILL/FOLLOW aspect ratio modes, and Auto-Image for automatic source optimization. Eight-input audio switching, two mic/line inputs with 48V phantom power, mic ducking, HDMI audio embedding/de-embedding, and audio breakaway provide comprehensive audio integration. The integrated 2×50 W stereo Class D power amplifier (50 W/ch @ 4 Ω; 25 W/ch @ 8 Ω) with CDRS Ripple Suppression drives direct-connect speaker loads. The AV LAN switch isolates AV device traffic from the corporate network and supports TouchLink Pro touchpanels, eBUS button panels, and BYOD mobile control via LinkLicense.
