Product Overview
The Extron DVS 605 AD is a five-input HDCP-compliant video scaler with three HDMI and two universal analog video inputs, simultaneous HDMI, analog RGB/component, and 3G/HD-SDI outputs with genlock, true seamless switching with cut or dissolve transitions for inputs 1–4, picture-in-picture, five-channel audio switching with HDMI embedding/de-embedding, and SDI audio embedding. Product Description
The DVS 605 AD adds broadcast-grade 3G-SDI/HD-SDI output with genlock to the DVS 605 A audio switching platform. The 3G-SDI/HD-SDI output complies with SMPTE 292M and 424M for integration into broadcast and production applications, with genlock synchronization to an external reference signal. Up to eight channels of audio can be embedded onto the SDI output. The five-channel audio switcher includes balanced/unbalanced inputs, HDMI audio embedding and de-embedding, fixed and variable analog outputs, and an S/PDIF output. The two universal 15-pin HD analog inputs auto-detect RGBHV, component, S-video, and composite video. Seamless cut or dissolve transitions are available for inputs 1–4. PIP picture-in-picture supports any two sources on inputs 1–4 with adjustable size and position. Control via Ethernet, RS-232, USB, and contact closure. Available at Creation Networks.
