The Extron DMP 128 is a 12x8 ProDSP digital matrix processor featuring 64-bit floating point signal processing, automixing, an expansion port for linking two units, and optional AEC, Dante audio networking, and POTS analog telephone interfacing. Six models are available covering standard, AEC, AEC+POTS, and Dante-equipped variants. The DMP 128 is designed for boardrooms, conference centers, courtrooms, and presentation spaces requiring sophisticated audio routing and conferencing DSP in a 1U full-rack enclosure. Product Description

The DMP 128 is the predecessor to the DMP 128 Plus and offers a proven 12x8 ProDSP platform with 12 mic/line inputs (8 with 48V phantom power) and 8 line outputs. The triple matrix design routes signals through an output matrix, a virtual bus matrix (8 virtual groups), and an expansion matrix connecting to a second DMP 128 or DTP CrossPoint via a 16x16 digital audio bus over shielded CAT 6. C models add 8-channel AEC with advanced convergence for double-talk and wireless microphone scenarios. C P models add POTS telephone interfacing with two RJ-11 ports. AT models add Dante audio networking (56 Rx / 24 Tx channels) and FlexInputs on inputs 1–8 to route Dante channels through full DSP processing including AEC. The automixer supports gated and gain sharing modes across up to 8 groups. DSP Configurator Software provides real-time metering, live configuration, and Building Blocks for fast setup.
