Product Description

Bringing a mobile phone into a room's audio system is a recurring requirement that rarely has a clean answer. Consumer Bluetooth receivers introduce an analog hop, a wall wart, and no control surface. The BT 100 AT D handles it as a network audio device: Bluetooth in, Dante out, with no analog stage between the phone and the DSP.

Full duplex operation is the important distinction. Program audio playback from a phone is straightforward, but call bridging requires audio to travel both directions with acceptable latency and echo behavior. The BT 100 AT D supports full duplex Bluetooth to Dante connectivity so a cell phone can act as the communication device in a conferencing system, with the room's microphones and loudspeakers on the other side of the DSP.

Installation is a single-gang decorator-style wallplate on PoE, so one Ethernet run supplies both power and audio transport. That removes the local power supply and the analog cable pair from the design entirely.
