Product Description
The ELPMBP05 solves the common drop-ceiling install problem of anchoring a projector mount in a grid ceiling where the tiles themselves cannot carry load. The kit is designed to replace one 2-foot by 2-foot ceiling tile, or to sit above the suspended ceiling, providing a defined mounting surface. The 2-foot by 2-foot plate is suspended and secured to the structure above using four tie wires, so the projector load transfers to the building structure rather than the ceiling grid. Installation is quick and does not require cutting any ceiling tiles. This kit is suited to office, classroom, and commercial drop-ceiling installations where a clean, grid-integrated mounting point is needed.
