The RBC1500 pairs two 12V 9Ah sealed lead-acid batteries into a pre-assembled, pre-wired 24VDC pack sized for the battery access door found on SMART1200LCD, SMART1500LCD, SMART1500LCDXL, and SMX1500LCD UPS systems. This makes it a common replacement part for AV integrators and facilities teams maintaining rack-mount or tower UPS units protecting equipment in a conference room AV closet or data closet. Only UPS versions equipped with a battery access door accept the RBC1500; earlier versions of these same model names without a door use a different internal battery configuration and are not compatible.
