Product Overview

The Dynacord IX60:4 is a 4-channel networked DSP amplifier delivering 6 kW of total output power for large-format commercial AV installations driving demanding low-Z loudspeaker systems and high-Z distributed lines. Built on powerTANK technology, this rack-mount amplifier handles both high-Z (70V/100V) and low-Z loads from a single chassis. With 8x8 Dante and OMNEO (Dante audio plus OCA/AES70 control), the IX60:4 integrates directly into managed AV networks for centralized control and monitoring. It gives system designers a high-output 96 kHz DSP amplifier platform for auditoriums, worship spaces, and large meeting venues.

Product Description

The IX60:4 fits a single rack unit and combines four high-output amplifier channels with a fully featured 96 kHz DSP engine, consolidating routing, equalization, dynamics, and loudspeaker tuning inside one device. Its 12 x 12 matrix mixer, FIR-Drive speaker processing, and Dynacord FX let a system designer build complete signal chains without external processors. Four mic/line inputs accept local sources directly or act as Dante break-in points, while eight Dante inputs and eight Dante outputs carry networked audio across the install. The MXE-style TaskEngine handles system logic, scheduling, and automation for integration with third-party control. ghostPOWER over PoE keeps the DSP, Dante network, and mic/line inputs active independent of mains power, protecting paging and monitoring during AC interruptions. ecoRAIL energy management reduces operating cost in always-on deployments. With 6 kW of total power and per-channel output up to 1,800 W, the IX60:4 drives high-Z distributed lines and large low-Z point-source or array loudspeakers, supporting primary reinforcement and distributed zones together. The amplifier is configured and controlled in SONICUE Sound System Software and can act as a SONICUE control server for WPN1 wall panels, the TPC-1 touch panel, and iOS or Windows devices. Integrators comparing models can review the full Dynacord collection, and reference the two-channel Dynacord C3600FDi for dual-channel high-power low-Z requirements.

Key Features

  • 6 kW powerTANK output — Delivers 6 kW of total power across four channels, with up to 1,800 W per channel for demanding low-Z loudspeaker systems.
  • 8x8 Dante networking — Provides eight Dante inputs and eight Dante outputs for distributed audio transport across a managed AV network.
  • OMNEO with OCA/AES70 — Combines Dante audio with standards-based OCA/AES70 remote control for IP-based monitoring and configuration.
  • 96 kHz DSP with matrix mixer — Runs a 12 x 12 matrix mixer with EQ, dynamics, FIR-Drive, and Dynacord FX so external processing is not required.
  • High-Z and low-Z operation — Drives 70V and 100V distributed lines as well as low-impedance loudspeakers, covering background and foreground zones together.
  • MXE-style TaskEngine — Adds scheduling, automation, and system logic for integration with third-party control systems.
  • ghostPOWER over PoE — Maintains the DSP, Dante network, and mic/line inputs during mains loss using IEEE 802.3af PoE on the primary port.
  • SONICUE control server — Configured in SONICUE and able to serve WPN1 wall panels, the TPC-1 touch panel, and iOS or Windows clients.
  • 1U rack-mount chassis — Fits a single rack unit with front-to-rear temperature-controlled cooling for dense equipment racks.
