Product Overview
The Draper StageScreen is a modular, free-standing (or flown) projection screen sized at 501" diagonal in MultiFormat configuration. Built on an 8" truss frame assembled from six color-coded, interchangeable sections, StageScreen lets AV rental and staging dealers build multiple screen sizes from a shared parts inventory. This size is available in your choice of surface: Matt White XT1000VB, CineFlex White XT700V, CineFlex CH1200V.
Product Description
StageScreen is built for stages, lecture halls, and other large venues where a screen needs to go up quickly, hold a truly flat image, and come back down just as fast. The 8" truss frame is significantly more rigid than typical folding-screen trusses, and frame sections connect with permanently attached threaded links and guide pins rather than hinges, snaps, or cranks — assembly is straightforward and repeatable for touring or rental use. This is one of StageScreen's largest configurations, sized for venues needing an extra-wide MultiFormat image area.
The viewing surface attaches to the frame using Draper's DuraLoop bungee cord system with nylon pull-tabs, which keeps even, lasting tension across the surface for a flat, high-quality image without hand-lacing. This size covers a 144" x 480" viewable image area within a 160 1/2" x 496 1/2" overall frame footprint, regardless of which surface is selected. StageScreen may be wall-mounted, suspended (flown), or set up free-standing with optional leg supports, and ships in a heavy-duty molded polyethylene wheeled case. An optional dress kit with black IFR (inherently flame-retardant) velour is available separately to frame the screen and conceal supporting hardware for staged events. Contact Creation Networks for lead times and configuration support.
