The SLX series is Draper's top-tier ceiling-mounted projector lift, hand-assembled and tested at the factory in Spiceland, Indiana before shipment. The SLX28 is built for commercial AV deployments where projectors are large, ceilings are high, and maintenance access matters. Three sets of scissors distribute the projector load laterally and front-to-back, reducing vibration and drift during operation — a practical advantage for permanent installations running long meetings or services without a technician present.

Two programmable show positions can be set independently while still allowing full-up storage and full-down service positions. Position memories are retained even if power is interrupted — the lift returns to the same position after restoration without requiring technician reconfiguration. The SLX28 supports projectors drawing up to 12 amps and can power the projector directly via a built-in 115V or 240V UL-listed receptacle, eliminating the need for a separate power run to the projector.
