Product Overview
The DBX ZC-9 is a wall-mounted zone controller for dbx ZonePRO distributed audio processors, providing a rotary source selection knob for in-room control of audio source switching in ZonePRO 1260/1261 installations. The ZC-9 gives building occupants direct access to source selection at the zone level, without requiring access to the central processor or a network-connected device.
Product Description
The DBX ZC-9 is a single-function zone controller optimized for source selection in ZonePRO 1260 and 1261 installations. Its rotary knob steps through the audio sources configured in the ZonePRO processor for the assigned zone, allowing room users to switch between background music programs, paging sources, or any other input configured in the system. The ZC-9 installs in a standard single-gang electrical box and connects to the ZonePRO via CAT5 or CAT5E cable. Up to six ZC-9 controllers can share a single zone output in a series daisy-chain up to 300 feet, or in a parallel home-run configuration with a ZC-BOB up to 1000 feet.
