Product Overview
The DBX ZC-8 is a wall-mounted zone controller for dbx ZonePRO distributed audio processors, featuring push-button volume up/down controls and a rotary source selection knob for convenient in-room audio control. Designed for ZonePRO 640/641/1260/1261 installations, the ZC-8 gives building occupants direct, intuitive access to volume and source selection without requiring access to the central processor or a smartphone app.
Product Description
In commercial distributed audio installations, zone controllers give building occupants practical control over the audio in their space. The DBX ZC-8 provides the two most common control functions - volume and source selection - on a single wall plate that installs in a standard single-gang electrical box. The push-button volume up and down controls allow incremental level adjustments, while the rotary source selection knob lets users choose from the sources configured in the ZonePRO system. Up to six ZC-8 controllers can be wired from a single ZonePRO zone output using CAT5 or CAT5E cable, either in a series daisy-chain up to 300 feet or in a parallel home-run configuration with a ZC-BOB up to 1000 feet.
