The DBX ZC-7 is a wall-mounted push-to-talk zone controller for dbx ZonePRO distributed audio processors, providing a momentary push button that activates paging zone assignments for live announcements in ZonePRO 640/641/1260/1261 installations. The ZC-7 is the standard hardware interface for staff-initiated paging in commercial audio systems where a dedicated push-to-talk control point is needed at each zone or announcement location.
Product Description
In retail, hospitality, corporate, and institutional audio installations, staff need to make live announcements from specific locations - a customer service desk, a reception counter, or a back-of-house dispatch point. The DBX ZC-7 provides a dedicated push-to-talk button at these locations, activating the paging zone assignment configured in the connected ZonePRO processor when pressed. Releasing the button ends the page and returns the zone to its previous programming. The ZC-7 installs in a standard single-gang electrical box and connects to the ZonePRO via CAT5 or CAT5E cable. Up to six ZC-7 units can share a single zone output in series or parallel configurations. Available at Creation Networks.
