Product Overview
The DBX ZC-4 is a wall-mounted zone controller for dbx ZonePRO distributed audio processors, providing contact closure inputs that trigger program changes, scene recalls, and paging zone assignments directly from a low-voltage switch or relay. Compatible with ZonePRO 640/641/1260/1261 and DriveRack 220i/260, the ZC-4 is the preferred control point for applications where an external automation system, door contact, or relay needs to control the audio system without a dedicated user interface.
Product Description
In commercial audio installations, many control triggers come not from people pressing buttons but from building systems - door contacts opening, security sensors firing, or automation controllers sending relay closures. The DBX ZC-4 translates these dry contact closure events into ZonePRO program changes, source selections, page zone assignments, and scene recalls. Up to six ZC-4 controllers can be connected to a single ZonePRO or DriveRack zone output using CAT5 or CAT5E cable, either in series (daisy-chain) up to 300 feet, or in parallel with a ZC-BOB up to 1000 feet. The ZC-4 fits a standard single-gang electrical box and includes a wall plate for a finished appearance. Available at Creation Networks.
