Product Overview
The DBX ZC-2 is a wall-mounted zone controller for dbx ZonePRO and DriveRack distributed audio processors, combining a rotary volume potentiometer and a push-button mute control on a single wall plate for convenient in-room audio level management. Compatible with DriveRack 220i/260 and ZonePRO 640/641/1260/1261, the ZC-2 gives building occupants direct control over zone volume and muting without access to the central processor.
Product Description
The DBX ZC-2 provides the two most fundamental audio controls - volume and mute - on a single wall-mount controller. The rotary potentiometer allows smooth, continuous volume adjustment within the range configured in the ZonePRO or DriveRack system, while the push-button mute switch enables instant silence when needed without losing the current volume setting. This combination makes the ZC-2 well suited for conference rooms, classrooms, offices, and any space where room occupants need to manage their own audio level. The ZC-2 installs in a standard single-gang electrical box and connects via CAT5 or CAT5E cable. Up to six ZC-2 controllers can share a single zone output in series or parallel wiring with a ZC-BOB.
