The DBX CT2 cable tester provides rapid go/no-go cable testing for professional audio and AV applications without the complexity or cost of advanced multi-pin analyzers. A single 6-position rotary selector steps through the connector configurations, and LED indicators confirm continuity and identify wiring faults including shorts, opens, and reversed pins. The single-unit (non-split) design is optimized for testing cables before installation or during troubleshooting, where both ends of the cable are accessible simultaneously.
