The Da-Snap 79003V provides a 159" diagonal HDTV 16:9 viewing area with the Da-Tex rear projection surface — designed for installations where the projector must be positioned behind the screen. The Pro-Trim light-absorbing black frame finish reduces edge halation, and the square aluminum tubing frame supports wall-surface and wall-opening (recessed) installation.
Product Description
The Da-Lite Da-Snap 79003V with Da-Tex rear projection surface provides a 159" diagonal HDTV 16:9 fixed frame projection screen for rear projection installations. The Da-Tex surface transmits projected light from behind the screen to the viewer at the front, enabling projector placement in a rear projection enclosure or back-of-wall chase at 159" diagonal. This configuration is used in broadcast studios, themed attractions, corporate event venues, and commercial AV systems where front-of-room projector placement is not possible. The Pro-Trim frame finish absorbs ambient light at the frame surround, reducing front-side halation. The screen surface attaches via snaps or optional Velcro for field replacement without removing the frame. The seamless surface spans the full 159" diagonal. The Da-Snap supports wall-surface and wall-opening (recessed) installation. Rear projection requires adequate depth behind the screen for projector placement and rear-of-screen light control.
