Product Overview
The Crestron TST-1080-DSW wall dock converts the TST-1080 wireless touch screen into a fixed, flush-mounted control point while continuously charging its internal battery. Engineered for conference rooms, boardrooms, and high-traffic commercial AV spaces, this Crestron wall dock for TST-1080 lets the touch screen sit nearly flush with the bezel for a clean appearance and tamper resistance. As a stationary docking station, it supports both wall-mounted room control and on-demand wireless use. It is a purpose-built accessory for organizations standardizing on the Crestron TST-1080 touch screen.
Product Description
The TST-1080-DSW is designed for flush-mount installation in a flat, vertical wall structure, presenting the docked TST-1080 as a secure, integrated room control interface. When a user enters a pass code or presses a button on the touch screen, the motorized mechanism gently tilts the screen outward for release, allowing it to be carried for wireless operation. A hardware key is included to release the touch screen manually in the event of a power outage, ensuring the device is never trapped in the dock.
Powered by Cresnet network power or a dedicated Cresnet power supply, the wall dock draws 30 W with the touch screen docked and does not pass Cresnet data communication. Installation requires additional hardware sold separately, such as the TST-902-DSW-BB and TST-902-DSW-BBI back boxes for framed and masonry construction, and an air gap of at least 12 inches in the wall cavity above and below the dock for heat dissipation. This makes the TST-1080-DSW well suited to permanent, in-wall touch screen deployments in commercial environments.
Key Features
- Flush Wall Docking — The touch screen sits nearly flush with the outer bezel for a clean architectural appearance while discouraging unauthorized removal.
- Integrated Charging — The dock continuously charges the TST-1080 internal battery so the screen is always ready for wireless use.
- Motorized Release Mechanism — A pass code or button press gently tilts the screen outward for quick removal without tools.
- Power-Outage Hardware Key — An included hardware key manually releases the touch screen if Cresnet power is lost.
- Cresnet Power Input — The dock is powered over Cresnet network power or a dedicated Cresnet supply, simplifying wiring on existing Crestron infrastructure.
- Flush-Mount Design — Built for flush installation in framed or masonry walls using optional Crestron back boxes for a finished, in-wall result.
