The TS-1070 is a sophisticated and efficient user interface that allows for the control of technology in numerous settings, such as homes, boardrooms, classrooms, and command centers. With its touch screen, users can easily navigate through the interface and customize it to suit their needs best. The capacitive controls are user-friendly, and the true feedback and real-time status display add to the overall convenience of the interface. The screen features a built-in proximity sensor that automatically wakes it up without any user intervention, and the brightness controls adjust according to the lighting conditions for optimal visibility.

Custom-Programmable Virtual Buttons

The TS-1070 offers a convenient universal status bar that displays virtual buttons for easy access to frequently used touchscreen functions. The touch screen is preloaded with virtual buttons for Power, Home, Lights, Up, Down, and Microphone. These buttons can be customized through a Crestron control system to provide personalized functionality, and any unused buttons can be hidden as desired. Simple swipe gestures can be used on the touchscreen display to expand or hide the universal status bar.

Dynamic User Interfaces

With the TS-1070, users can create their own custom interfaces using Crestron's HTML5 User Interface and Smart Graphics technologies, providing UI developers and programmers with increased flexibility.

Voice Recognition

The TS-1070 comes with voice recognition capabilities that allow users to control various devices with spoken commands easily. You can turn devices on or off, play specific media sources, change channels, adjust lighting scenes, lower window shades, lock doors, arm security systems, or input passwords. Just give a command and let Crestron take care of the rest.

Streaming Video

The TS-1070 has the ability to display live streaming video from an IP camera, streaming encoder (such as Crestron DM-TXRX-100-STR), or DigitalMedia™ switcher, thanks to its native support for H.265, H.264, and MJPEG formats. This feature is delivered via Ethernet, eliminating the need for any extra video wiring.

Rava SIP Intercom

With Rava SIP Intercom Technology, you can communicate hands-free over VoIP with other Rava-enabled touch screens and door stations. No special wiring is required as Rava works over Ethernet, supporting 2-way intercom and paging. You can also integrate Rava with a SIP-compatible IP phone system or SIP server to enjoy hands-free phone functionality with speed-dialing, caller ID, custom ringers, and more features. The built-in echo cancellation ensures clear, seamless voice communication with full-duplex performance using the integrated microphone and speakers.

Crestron Room Scheduling App

The TS-1070 is a versatile room scheduling solution that doubles as a scheduling panel through the Crestron room scheduling app. It can be conveniently placed at the entrance of a meeting room to display its availability and schedule for the day. Users can even reserve a room on the spot for impromptu meetings. The scheduling app can quickly report occupancy status for unscheduled usage or unattended meetings by pairing the touch screen with a CEN-ODT-C-POE occupancy sensor. The Crestron Sched efficiently manages meeting rooms and enhances user experience.

The TS-1070 integrates smoothly with several scheduling software, such as Microsoft Exchange Server (compatible with Outlook and Office 365), Google Calendar, G Suite, CollegeNET 25Live, and Ad Astra, as well as Crestron Fusion. Additionally, IBM Notes is supported through a Crestron Fusion on-premises server. With the Crestron Scheduling App, scheduling and event management become effortless.

Third-Party Scheduling Apps

The TS-1070 has the ability to support various third-party scheduling applications. You can access additional providers through firmware updates. Setting it up is simple - just connect the touch screen to the network and choose an application from the web-based setup menu or built-in setup screens. The selected app will be downloaded from the cloud and installed on the touch screen without the need for programming or a control system.

Zoom Rooms App

The TS-1070 can function as a touchscreen control panel for Zoom Rooms conferencing and collaboration solutions by using the Zoom Rooms conferencing control application. Compared to utilizing a consumer tablet device, the TS-1070 provides a more reliable and secure platform. It can be configured to run only the Zoom Rooms app or permit switching between the app and touchscreen control mode. This versatility is beneficial for incorporating Zoom Rooms conferencing into a larger AV system and offering touchscreen control for both.

NOTE: The Zoom ultrasonic proximity signal can reach up to 9 feet (2.74 meters) on average from the TS-1070 touch screen to an end user device. However, the range may differ due to factors like the environmental noise, sensitivity of the end user device, and its orientation to the touch screen.​

Microsoft Teams App

Microsoft Teams is a comprehensive online meeting solution that serves as the center of teamwork in Office 365 software. It facilitates communication through messaging, voice over IP, online meetings, content sharing, and collaboration. The TS‑1070's Microsoft Teams application offers a unified touch screen console for presentation, calling, conferencing, and collaboration, delivering excellent full‑duplex wideband audio and HD video. With the familiar and intuitive Microsoft Teams UI, users can enjoy a consistent experience in every meeting space, complete with easy operation, built-in calendaring, and one-touch meeting joins.

NOTE: To use the TS-1070, it is necessary to operate it in Microsoft Teams mode while using a UC-ENGINE or UC-BRKT-100-ASSY.

Crestron Home OS Control

The TS-1070 touchscreen device is designed to operate a Crestron Home™ OS whole home system. Simply select the Crestron Home app on the screen to manage lighting, shades, climate, media, security, and cameras. Additionally, you can create personalized scenes to set the perfect mood throughout your entire home. For your convenience, you can install a TS-1070 in every room to easily access all the functions of Crestron Home for both the room and the entire house.

Bluetooth Beacon

The Crestron system boasts a Bluetooth® proximity detection beacon that adds to its intelligence and personalization. This innovative feature enables a smartphone or tablet device to always identify the room it is in. By collaborating with the Crestron Go App and Crestron App, it detects when the mobile device is in or near the same room as the beacon, and prompts the mobile app to display relevant controls and information for the specific room.

Web Browsing

The TS-1070 comes equipped with a web browser, allowing easy access to online program guides and other web-based services. Additionally, it offers the convenience of controlling DVRs and other devices without the need for a separate tablet or smartphone.

Wired and Wi-Fi Connectivity

To connect the TS-1070, only an Ethernet LAN connection is needed. This single wire carries all the necessary signals for control, video, intercom, and power. If Ethernet access is not available, the touch screen can still be linked to the network through Wi-Fi communication using a local wireless access point (WAP).

Power over Ethernet

The TS-1070 operates using PoE technology, which allows it to receive power directly through the network cable. This means there is no need for a separate power supply or dedicated wiring. For users with multiple touch screens, Crestron PoE switches (CEN-SW-POE-5 or CEN-SWPOE-163) provide a complete networking solution with built-in PoE. Additionally, a PoE Injector (PWE-4803RU3) is available for those with a single touch screen.

NOTE: PoE+ is required when connecting a light bar or hallway sign via USB. Refer to the “Power” specifications for more details.

High-Speed USB Port

The TS-1070 touch screen offers a fast USB 2.0 port that allows for easy connection of compatible Crestron accessories.

Our Crestron touch screens utilize enterprise-grade networking with strong security measures, including 802.1X authentication, TLS encryption, HTTPS connectivity, and integration with Active Directory® services. These features are crucial to safeguarding your network against service disruptions and malicious attacks, while also ensuring compliance with your organization's network policies. We also offer cloud-based provisioning and management for easy configuration, monitoring, and updates of all touch screens on your network. Furthermore, our touch screens support SNMP for IT administrators to monitor them.
