The Crestron SW-VC4-BN-1000 is a BACnet network/IP license that expands BACnet object capacity within a Crestron Virtual Control (VC-4) installation. This Crestron BACnet license for VC-4 enables support for up to 1000 BACnet objects, allowing the control server to integrate with building management systems and HVAC controls over BACnet/IP. It is intended for integrators bridging Crestron control and BMS platforms in larger facilities. The product is a software license with no hardware shipped.
Product Description
Each Crestron Virtual Control installation supports up to 100 BACnet objects by default. The SW-VC4-BN-1000 raises that capacity to 1000 objects, and multiple licenses can be stacked for systems requiring more, up to the Virtual Control maximum of 10,000 BACnet objects. This lets a VC-4 deployment exchange data with building automation systems at scale, supporting integration of HVAC, lighting, and environmental subsystems through BACnet/IP.
The license runs on a VC-4-PC-3 micro computer, a VC-4-SERVER-25 rack server, or a standalone VC-4 server. Crestron Virtual Control offers two licensing options for BACnet: online licensing via the XiO Cloud service, or offline licensing using the USB-OFFLINE dongle, giving integrators flexibility for both connected and air-gapped deployments.
