Product Overview
The Crestron SW-FUSION-C-3 is an enterprise-class cloud-hosted room scheduling and AV management platform covering up to 250 rooms with a three-year maintenance term. Hosted by Crestron on Microsoft Azure®, it gives IT and facilities managers centralized visibility into room utilization, device status, energy consumption, and help desk operations from a single web-based dashboard. The platform integrates directly with Microsoft 365®, Google Calendar™, and other major calendaring systems, making it a practical choice for organizations seeking a fully managed, off-premises deployment model for Crestron Fusion® room management software.
Product Description
Crestron Fusion® Cloud combines two software components — Fusion RV® (RoomView) and Fusion EM® (Energy Management) — into a single subscription. Fusion RV provides scheduling, remote monitoring, real-time help desk alerts, and detailed usage reporting across all licensed rooms. Fusion EM tracks energy sources in real time, integrates with lighting, shades, and climate systems, and correlates energy usage with room occupancy to reduce waste. Because the platform is hosted in Azure, IT departments avoid the capital expense and ongoing maintenance burden of on-premises servers — Crestron manages infrastructure availability and updates throughout the subscription period. Room scheduling integrates with Microsoft Exchange Server®, Microsoft 365®, Google Calendar™, IBM® Notes®, CollegeNET® 25Live®, and Ad Astra® software. In-room touch screens allow on-the-spot reservations; optional room availability signs display occupancy status outside each space. The built-in help desk module enables remote device takeover, alert routing to support staff, and in-room attendee requests. Usage, occupancy, and device reports feed into a Microsoft Power BI® dashboard template, enabling facility managers to make data-driven decisions about space utilization and AV investment. The platform is also compatible with Crestron's .AV Framework™ software for codeless room control deployment. Licensing covers up to 250 rooms; deployments requiring more rooms require additional licenses. The three-year term includes service, support, and software updates; renewal is required after expiration.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Fusion Cloud (SW-FUSION-C-3) and Fusion On-Premises (SW-FUSION-P-L)?
SW-FUSION-C-3 is hosted by Crestron on Microsoft Azure — no customer-managed servers required. SW-FUSION-P-L is self-hosted on the customer's own servers, supports unlimited rooms, and carries a lifetime maintenance term. The cloud version is better suited to organizations that prefer managed infrastructure; the on-premises version is preferred where data sovereignty or network isolation is required.
What happens when the three-year term expires?
Service, support, and software updates cease at the end of the maintenance period. The license must be renewed to continue receiving updates and support. Crestron recommends renewal before expiration to avoid coverage gaps.
Does the platform require Crestron control systems in each room?
Fusion is compatible with Crestron .AV Framework™ for rooms without custom programming. Rooms with existing Crestron control processors connect natively; third-party devices can integrate via the REST API or supported protocols.
Can Fusion Cloud be deployed alongside existing room booking systems?
Yes. Fusion integrates directly with Microsoft Exchange/365 and Google Calendar, meaning existing calendar infrastructure is preserved. Room scheduling touch screens display availability from the same calendar system users already access via Outlook or Gmail.
How many rooms does this license cover, and what if we need more?
SW-FUSION-C-3 covers up to 250 rooms. Organizations needing additional capacity can purchase supplemental room licenses. Contact your authorized Crestron dealer for volume licensing options.
What AV reporting capabilities does Fusion provide?
The platform generates usage reports (booking frequency, duration, who booked), occupancy reports (whether booked rooms were actually occupied), and device reports (which sources and displays were used and for how long). All data is accessible via Microsoft Power BI® using the included dashboard template.
Is on-site installation required to deploy Fusion Cloud?
The cloud backend requires no on-site server installation. Room-side deployment requires Crestron control processors or .AV Framework-compatible devices in each room, typically installed by an authorized Crestron dealer.
