Product Overview
The Crestron SM-MPC-W is a white surface mount backbox that provides an on-wall enclosure for any MP Series media presentation button panel, MPC Media Presentation System, or IPAC Integrated Professional Automation Computer. When the device is installed, its front panel sits straight against the wall. The complete assembly mounts directly to the wall surface, with multiple wiring exit options.
Product Description
Surface mounting is the practical choice when an in-wall back box is not available or when retrofitting onto a finished wall. The SM-MPC-W gives MP, MPC, and IPAC devices a clean on-wall home without cutting into the wall cavity. The device's front panel rests flush and straight in the enclosure for a professional appearance in conference rooms, classrooms, and presentation spaces.
Wiring flexibility is built in: cabling can exit through the rear of the enclosure or be routed through knockouts on the bottom, top, and sides of the unit, accommodating a range of installation conditions. The enclosure is finished in white to coordinate with light-toned walls and white devices, and a black variant (SM-MPC-B) is available for darker installations.
