In new construction projects, in-ceiling speakers must be positioned before drywall is installed. The SPKA-NCTP-IC810 flat template is secured to the ceiling framing and acts as a placeholder during the drywall and finishing stages. After finishing, the template guides the cutter to the precise speaker location for a clean, accurate cutout. Joist spacing compatibility ranges from 15 to 26 inches on-center. The flat version allows drywall to be installed directly over the template. A collared variant (SPKA-NCTP-IC811) is also available for installations where drywall compound finishing over the template is needed. Sold in packs of ten.
