The Crestron RMK-IFE-1U is a 1-space rack mount shelf that provides a 19 in. rack-mounting solution for Crestron products built on the IFE (Integrator Friendly Enclosure) form factor. It accommodates up to three micro and/or small IFE devices, or two medium IFE devices, with the option to combine one medium and one micro or small device. Each device sits firmly on the shelf and attaches securely using the screws provided. The complete assembly occupies a single 19 in. EIA rack space and ships fully assembled.

Product Description

IFE-based Crestron devices come in micro, small, and medium sizes, and the RMK-IFE-1U gives integrators a clean, secure way to rack-mount them in a standard 19 in. equipment rack. Devices are positioned on the shelf with their feet set into laser cut-outs and fastened with the included screws, holding them firmly in place. The shelf supports forward or set-back mounting: the forward position keeps the device's front panel visible and accessible, while the set-back position improves rear panel access and adds frontal clearance for wiring devices that have front-panel connections. Adequate space around each device lets wiring pass cleanly from front to back, and cable tie holes at the rear of the shelf support neat cable management. A removable front cover panel completely hides the installed devices and wiring for a clean, tamper-resistant appearance, and it can be taken off temporarily for front access or removed permanently when constant access to the front panels is required. Rugged metal construction with a black finish matches the appearance of other rack-mountable Crestron products.
