Constructed from metal mounting brackets and a cover plate, it preserves the existing wall opening for a fast, clean upgrade.
Product Description
Replacing an aging touch screen typically means dealing with a wall opening sized for the old device, which can require drywall patching and repainting. The TSW-1070-RMB-3 eliminates that work by adapting an existing TPS-6L installation to accept a modern Crestron TSW-1070 or TSS-1070 series touch screen. The bracket mounts over the existing back box or wall cutout using the included hardware, so the upgrade can be completed without patching or tearing the surface. This keeps installation time and disruption to a minimum, which is especially valuable in occupied conference rooms and corridors. The bracket is built from metal mounting brackets and a cover plate for durable, secure support of the new touch screen. Crestron offers companion retrofit solutions for other legacy devices, including the TSW-770/1070-RMB-1 (converts APAD, CT-1000, LC-1000, or TPS-2000L) and the TSW-770/1070-RMB-2 (converts TPS-4L). With a TSW-1070 installed, the assembly measures 5.87 in. (149 mm) high by 9.46 in. (240 mm) wide by 0.72 in. (18 mm) deep.
