Product Overview
The Crestron TSW-UMB-70-PMK is a portrait-oriented preconstruction mounting kit that provides a complete preconstruction mounting solution for TSW-570, TSW-770, TSW-1070, TSS-770, and TSS-1070 series touch screens. The metal bracket fastens to the left or right-hand stud of a framed wall prior to installing drywall, allowing the touch screen location to be established during the rough-in phase. It is designed to be used together with the TSW-UMB-70 universal mounting bracket, which is sold separately. This approach delivers a clean, flush installation in new construction.
Product Description
The TSW-UMB-70-PMK simplifies new-construction and renovation projects by letting installers fix the touch screen mounting position before drywall is hung. The kit consists of a metal bracket that attaches to a wall stud using standard drywall nails or screws, which are not included. Once drywall is installed, the TSW-UMB-70 universal mounting bracket and the touch screen mount into the prepared opening for a finished, professional result. The bracket is intended for portrait orientation and supports the TSW-570, TSW-770, and TSW-1070 series, as well as the TSS-770 and TSS-1070 room scheduling touch screens. Note that TSW-570 series touch screens ship with one TSW-UMB-70-PMK included. When planning the installation, allow adequate air gap in the wall cavity above and below the touch screen for heat dissipation.
