Product Overview
The Crestron TST-902-DSW-WMKT is a postconstruction wall mount kit that provides a solution for installing the TST-902-DSW and TST-1080-DSW wall docks into an existing framed wall or similar flat surface. It includes a trim ring to provide a smooth, finished edge around the drywall cutout. The kit consists of a metal mounting plate and trim ring. It is intended for finished walls where the cavity is no longer open.
Product Description
The TST-902-DSW-WMKT is designed for retrofit installations of a TST-902-DSW or TST-1080-DSW wall dock into drywall that is already in place, making it suited to renovations and applications where the dock is added after construction. Unlike the mud-ring variant, this kit uses a trim ring that overlaps the cutout edge to provide a clean, finished border without the need to feather and finish the wall surface around the opening.
The metal mounting plate secures the wall dock to the wall, and the trim ring conceals the cut edge of the drywall for a tidy appearance. Because the TST-902-DSW contains moving parts, Crestron recommends mounting to a wall stud for additional support.
