The Crestron MP-WP152-B is a Media Presentation Wall Plate in black that provides a single-gang wall-mount input or output for HDMI digital video and audio. It features one gold-plated Type A HDMI connector using a bulkhead-type feed-through design with a female HDMI connection at the rear. The plate supports HD and UHD video up to 4K60 4:2:0 and 4K30 4:4:4 with 10.2 Gbps TMDS bandwidth. It mounts in a 1-gang electrical box and is gangable for custom wall, lectern, and rack applications.
Product Description
Media Presentation Wall Plates complete the end-to-end Crestron signal path, ensuring consistent quality from source to display at the point of connection. The MP-WP152-B presents a single Type A HDMI connector at the wall, with a bulkhead feed-through that provides a female HDMI connection at the rear of the plate so installation can be completed using a standard HDMI cable. It carries HD and UHD signals up to 4K60 4:2:0 and 4K30 4:4:4, supports 7.1 digital surround sound audio, and provides 10.2 Gbps of TMDS bandwidth. The plate mounts to a standard 1-gang electrical box, and Crestron recommends a 3-1/2 in. deep wall box or plaster ring to accommodate the cable and connector; some cables may require additional depth. The connector is gangable, allowing it to be combined with other Crestron connectors for custom wall, lectern, and rack-mount layouts. A decorator-style faceplate is available separately. The MP-WP152 is offered in white, black, and almond; this model is the black finish. The electrical box is not included.
