Product Overview
The Crestron HZ2-SWEX-A is a Horizon 2 in-wall relay-based switch with infiNET EX wireless communication, in Alabaster (white textured) finish with custom laser engraving. It provides on/off switching for incandescent, magnetic low voltage, tungsten-halogen, electronic ballast, and motor loads up to 10 A without dimming capability.
Product Description
The HZ2-SWEX-A shares all electrical specifications with the Brushed Brass and Black Glass switch variants, using an Alabaster textured finish with custom-etched button artwork. This finish is specified in standard commercial and institutional environments where a neutral white device appearance is preferred over premium metal or glass options. Custom button artwork in any of Style 1–6 must be provided at time of order via Impress SW, the Crestron Home app, D3Pro, or Crestron Home OS Configurator. Note: the HZ2-SWEX does not include an airgap switch. Neutral wire and HZ2-FP-G faceplate (sold separately) are required. For ordering, visit creationnetworks.net.

- Is the HZ2-SWEX-A suitable for dimming LED circuits?
- No. The HZ2-SWEX is a relay-based on/off switch only. It provides no dimming signal. For dimming LED loads, use the HZ2-DIMUEX (phase dimming) or HZ2-DIMLVEX (0-10V).
- When must engraving files be submitted?
- Artwork must be provided at time of order via Impress SW, Crestron Home app, D3Pro, or CHO Configurator. Made-to-order product; cannot be changed after production.
- What is the difference between Alabaster and White (-W) HZ2 devices?
- Alabaster (-A) and White (-W) are both light-colored textured finishes in the HZ2 series. They serve the same functional role in standard commercial installations. Alabaster tends toward a warmer off-white tone while White is a brighter neutral; both are available with the same electrical specifications.
