The Crestron HZ2-KPEX-BR-BRASS is a Horizon 2 in-wall programmable keypad with infiNET EX wireless communication, finished in Brushed Brass metal with custom laser engraving. It provides nine fully programmable push buttons for scene, source, and system control, requiring a companion HZ2 dimmer or switch for load switching in multi-location configurations.

Product Description

Unlike the HZ2 dimmer and switch variants, the HZ2-KPEX does not directly switch or dim a load. It is a keypad designed to pair with HZ2-DIMEX, HZ2-DIMUEX, HZ2-DIMLVEX, or HZ2-SWEX devices via a traveler wire through the Remote terminal, enabling multi-location control. All nine buttons are fully programmable through the Crestron system for scene control, AV source selection, or system commands. The Brushed Brass finish with custom engraving is specified in premium installations where labeled button functions are required. An airgap switch is included on the HZ2-KPEX. Does the HZ2-KPEX control a load directly?
