Universal phase dimming (also known as forward/reverse phase with auto-detection) allows a single dimmer to work across multiple load types without manual configuration switches. The HZ2-DIMUEX-BR-BLK automatically adapts to the load type for optimized dimming performance, minimizing flicker and extending fixture and lamp life.
