The HTT-B2EX-BATT-W-T communicates bidirectionally with an infiNET EX gateway — such as the CEN-RFGW-EX or a Crestron processor with built-in infiNET EX support — providing confirmed command delivery and network status back to the keypad. Two CR2450 coin cell batteries power the device for an expected service life of approximately five years under normal use conditions. The white textured finish blends into most commercial and residential environments. Because the device uses a coin cell battery instead of line power, no electrical wiring is required at the installation point. The two buttons are not field-replaceable; any custom engravings must be specified at the time of order. An infiNET EX gateway is required and sold separately.
