Product Overview
The Crestron HD-TXCA-4KZ-101 is a DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 transmitter that extends HDMI, RS-232, IR, and analog audio signals over a single CATx cable. It interoperates with a DM Essentials receiver or DMPS Essentials switcher for point-to-point AV and control extension. The transmitter supports 4K60 4:4:4 video, HDR10+, and HDCP 2.3, with an analog audio input that can embed a stereo source into the HDMI stream. It is suited to presentation, signage, and conferencing rooms that need video plus device control over one cable.
Product Description
The HD-TXCA-4KZ-101 sends HDMI video together with RS-232, IR, and analog audio to a paired DM Essentials receiver over a single twisted-pair cable, consolidating signal and control extension. It supports resolutions up to 4K60 with 4:4:4 color sampling, plus HDR10+, and complies with HDCP 2.3. An analog audio input lets a balanced or unbalanced stereo source be embedded with the HDMI video, and an audio selection button switches between analog and HDMI audio inputs. The transmitter also handles S/PDIF optical digital audio return, receiving audio from a device connected to the S/PDIF input of the paired HD-RXCA-4KZ-101 receiver. RS-232 and IR pass-through enable display and source control across the link without separate control wiring. This combination makes the HD-TXCA-4KZ-101 a flexible head-end for rooms that require video, audio, and control on one cable. The unit is designed and warranted for professional commercial AV installations.
