Product Overview
The Crestron HD-TX-4KZ-111 is a compact, surface-mountable DM Lite 4K60 4:4:4 transmitter that extends a USB-C DisplayPort signal over a single CATx cable. It is designed to interoperate with a DM Lite receiver or DMPS Lite switcher for point-to-point AV distribution. The transmitter supports 4K60 with full 4:4:4 color sampling, HDR formats, and HDCP 2.3. Its small enclosure mounts discreetly under a table, behind a credenza, or on a rack rail.
Product Description
The HD-TX-4KZ-111 accepts a USB-C input operating in DisplayPort Alt Mode, letting a single connector carry a DisplayPort AV signal from a laptop or compatible device. That signal is converted to DM Lite and sent over a CAT5e or higher twisted pair cable to the remote endpoint. For 1080p, WUXGA, and 2K signals, distances up to 230 ft (70 m) are supported; UHD and 4K signals are supported up to 130 ft (40 m). HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision metadata pass through along with CEC and EDID for reliable source-to-display handshaking. The transmitter can be powered by the included 24VDC power pack or by the remote DM Lite receiver or DMPS Lite switcher, with only one power source connected at a time. When paired with a DMPS Lite switcher, the unit can be configured and controlled through the switcher web interface and supported with control system programming and .AV Framework software. The vented metal chassis includes two mounting brackets for surface or single-rack-rail installation. For the complete pairing and power matrix, refer to the Crestron data sheet.
