Product Overview
The Crestron GLS-OIR-CSM-EX-BATT is a wireless battery-powered passive infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor for ceiling surface-mount installation. It communicates via infiNET EX 2.4 GHz mesh wireless and runs for up to 10 years on an included 9V lithium battery, making it ideal for retrofit and renovation projects where wiring is not available.
Product Description
The GLS-OIR-CSM-EX-BATT detects occupancy over 500 sq ft in a 360° pattern from a ceiling surface-mount position. Sensitivity, timeout (30 seconds to 30 minutes), and detection zone masks are field-adjustable via controls behind the removable cover. Half and perforated masks are included for customizing the detection area. Vacancy mode (manual-on) is supported with a 15-second grace period. The sensor operates as a leaf node only on the infiNET EX mesh and requires a compatible gateway (CEN-GWEXER, DIN-AP3MEX, MC3, or PYNG-HUB, sold separately).
