The FT2-500-MECH-PTL-B is part of the FlipTop FT2 500 mechanical series, which features a fully retracting one-touch lid and a magnetically attached top cover bezel for a clean, contiguous surface with no visible screws. Installation is straightforward: cut the provided template opening, place the unit, and turn four screws to engage the swiveling dogs that secure the FlipTop in surfaces up to 1-3/4 in. (44 mm) thick. The flexible modular design accepts pass-through cable plates, gravity cable retractors, flush-mount keystone connector plates, USB rapid chargers, and domestic or international AC power outlet modules, with blank plates available to fill unused slots. An optional under-table utility shelf eases mounting of a DigitalMedia transmitter or other interface device. All connections reside at the top surface, clearly visible and readily accessible, and modules can be rearranged at any time. Operating power depends on the AC outlet module installed.
