The Crestron DM-CBL-ULTRA-PC-1.5 is a 1.5 ft (0.45 m) fully shielded CAT6a patch cable engineered for Crestron DigitalMedia 8G+ (DM 8G+), HDBaseT, and 10GBase-T Ethernet links. It uses a unique PCB-based RJ45 plug design that tunes the signal for high-performance transmission of uncompressed 4K/60 video and Ethernet data. Each cable is 100% factory tested to verify full performance and compliance. This short length is ideal for patch-panel-to-equipment and rack-level connections.
Product Description
The DM-CBL-ULTRA-PC-1.5 is part of the Crestron DM Ultra structured cabling family, designed to deliver the highest performance and reliability when paired with other Crestron DM Ultra components. Rather than a traditional crimp-type plug, it employs an innovative PCB-based RJ45 plug that optimizes signal tuning and provides decreased variability and greater reliability through advanced contact technology. The cable itself is high-performance Category 7 S/FTP stranded construction, which preserves transmission performance while eliminating alien crosstalk. A full 360-degree shield provides comprehensive protection against interference across the length of the run. A low-profile, snag-resistant boot with a cantilevered latch eases access in dense connection points, while robust strain and bend relief protects the termination during installation and service. The 26 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors are terminated to TIA/EIA T568A and T568B wiring standards. Every DM Ultra patch cable is 100% factory tested.
