Product Overview
The Crestron CLWI-KPLEX-W is a 230VAC line-powered, infiNET EX wireless in-wall keypad for Crestron lighting and load control systems. It provides a dedicated wall station for scene recall and load control without requiring a separate low-voltage wiring run to the controller, operating entirely over the infiNET EX 2.4 GHz mesh wireless network. The White finish suits commercial and residential interiors in international markets.
Product Description
Unlike Cresnet keypads that require a dedicated four-wire home run, the CLWI-KPLEX-W draws power directly from the 230VAC mains at the back box. It communicates with the Crestron control processor via infiNET EX, the frequency-agile, mesh-topology wireless protocol designed for reliable, low-latency control signaling in built environments. The infiNET EX network self-heals around obstacles and automatically selects the least-congested channel, reducing the need for site surveys in most standard commercial installations. Button functions and scenes are programmed via Crestron Studio or SIMPL Windows. Engravable CLWI Series button caps are available separately.

How does the CLWI-KPLEX-W communicate with the Crestron processor?
The CLWI-KPLEX-W uses the infiNET EX wireless mesh protocol. It requires an infiNET EX gateway (such as the CEN-GWEXER) connected to the Crestron control processor. No physical low-voltage cable runs between the keypad and the controller.
Can this keypad be mixed with Cresnet keypads in the same system?
