Product Overview

The Crestron CLK-YL-YRD624-CR2-619 is a Yale Pro 2 deadbolt lock with a backlit capacitive touchscreen keypad and integrated infiNET EX wireless communication, finished in satin nickel. It integrates with Crestron home and building automation systems for remote access monitoring, PIN-based entry management, and activity logging. The lock is UL listed for a 90-minute fire rating and carries an ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 certification for residential and light commercial durability.

Product Description

The Yale Pro 2 deadbolt eliminates the need for physical keys by providing secure access through a 4-8 digit PIN code entered on the backlit touchscreen keypad. Multiple unique PINs can be assigned for family members and guests with varying access schedules and permissions. The DoorSense sensor prevents auto-lock from engaging while the door is still open, protecting the latch from damage. Via infiNET EX wireless communications, the lock connects to a Crestron control system using a CEN-GW1 or CENI-GW1 gateway, enabling integration with lighting, shading, climate, security, and surveillance systems. An activity log accessible from a Crestron touch screen records which PIN was used and when, and text or email alerts can be configured for any access event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the CLK-YL-YRD624-CR2-619 require a Crestron gateway to operate as a basic door lock?
A: No. The lock functions as a fully standalone deadbolt using PIN codes without any Crestron connectivity. The infiNET EX gateway is required only for integration with a Crestron automation system for remote control, scheduling, and activity logging.

Q: What happens if the batteries die?
A: A low battery LED provides advance warning. If the batteries are completely depleted, a 9V battery held against two terminals below the keypad temporarily restores power to unlock the door. The internal batteries should then be replaced.

Q: How many PIN codes can be stored in the Yale Pro 2 deadbolt?
A: The lock stores multiple unique PIN codes of 4-8 digits each, including a Master PIN for administration and individual user PINs with configurable access schedules and permissions. Refer to the Yale Pro 2 configuration guide for the exact PIN capacity.
