Product Description
This deadbolt combines Yale’s commercial-grade security hardware with Crestron infiNET EX 2-way RF communication, enabling AV integrators and facilities managers to incorporate door lock status and control into a unified Crestron automation environment. DoorSense technology prevents locking until the door is fully closed, and automatic relock engages after a configurable timeout. The Lifetime Brass finish suits formal residential and executive-level commercial interiors. A compatible gateway (CEN-GW1 or CENI-GW1) is required and sold separately. - Can the lock be controlled from outside the home via the Crestron app?
- Yes, when connected to a Crestron control system with remote access enabled, the lock status and control is available through the Crestron interface. The Yale Access app provides additional Bluetooth-based mobile control.
- What happens when the batteries die?
- A 9 V battery backup terminal on the exterior of the lock allows temporary power for entry code access when the internal batteries are depleted.
