The Crestron CEN-SWPOE-52-ULTRA is a 52-port managed PoE++ network switch built on the NETGEAR AV platform for large-scale commercial AV-over-IP installations. It powers up to 48 Ethernet endpoints at 90 W per port, provides a 500 Gbps non-blocking switching fabric, and includes four 25 Gigabit SFP28 uplink ports for high-capacity fiber backbone connectivity. With built-in DM NVX and DM NAX AV-over-IP profiles, the switch is purpose-configured for Crestron AV-over-IP deployments in enterprise, education, government, and large-venue commercial environments.
Product Description
The CEN-SWPOE-52-ULTRA provides 44 ports of 2.5 Gigabit auto-sensing Ethernet with PoE++ and four ports of 10 Gigabit auto-sensing multi-gigabit Ethernet with PoE++, for a total of 48 powered copper ports. All PoE++ ports conform to IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, delivering up to 90 W per port. Combined PoE output reaches up to 3,314 W when equipped with optional modular power supply units. Without the modular supplies, the internal power supply provides a maximum of 194 W of PoE.
Two modular power supply slots accept the CEN-SWSFP-PWS350 or CEN-SWPOE-PWS2000-ULTRA. The CEN-SWPOE-PWS2000-ULTRA expands the total PoE budget to 3,314 W without redundancy, or maintains up to 1,794 W in a redundant failover configuration. Four 25 Gigabit Base-X SFP28 ports support both multimode and single-mode fiber transceiver modules for backbone uplinks.
Selecting the DM NVX AV-over-IP or DM NAX Audio-over-IP profile in the built-in browser interface automatically configures the multicast management settings required for those systems. IGMP snooping (IGMPv3, MLDv2), IEEE 1588 PTPv2, full VLAN management, QoS, Layer 3 routing, DHCP server, 802.1X, DHCP snooping, and RADIUS/TACACS+ authentication are all included. The 1U metal chassis ships with reversible rack ears and supports both Quiet Mode (34 dBA) and Cool Mode (52 dBA) fan operation.
