The CEN-SWPOE-30-ULTRA provides PoE++ (802.3bt Type 4) on 24 of its 30 Ethernet ports, with two additional non-PoE Gigabit Ethernet ports and four 1 Gigabit Base-X SFP uplink ports. Per-port PoE power reaches up to 90 W, and combined output reaches up to 1,440 W using dual AC inputs. This high per-port budget accommodates demanding AV and network endpoints including 4K PTZ cameras, multi-radio wireless access points, digital signage displays, and DM NVX endpoints in a 30-port form factor appropriate for smaller venue sizes.

What is the difference between CEN-SWPOE-30-ULTRA and CEN-SWPOE-30?

The ULTRA model supports PoE++ (802.3bt Type 4) at up to 90 W per port. The standard CEN-SWPOE-30 supports PoE+ (802.3at) at up to 30 W per port and uses 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplinks rather than 1 Gigabit SFP. Choose the ULTRA when endpoints require more than 30 W per port.

Do both AC power inputs need to be connected?
