Product Overview
The Crestron CEN-IO-COM-102 is an Ethernet-connected interface module providing 2 RS-232/422/485 serial ports for extending serial device control to locations beyond the reach of direct cable runs from a Crestron 4-Series control processor. It connects to the building Ethernet network and is controlled via IP by the Crestron 4-Series processor, enabling RS-232/422/485 control of projectors, displays, and serial-controlled AV equipment at remote locations without running long serial cable runs from the AV rack. Part of the Crestron CEN-IO control expansion family, it installs at the display or device location and requires no dedicated local processor.
